THE INCIDENT: PROLOGUE

The Incident of 42 has turned the world and all of the mankind's understanding of the nature of things upside down. The humble remains of the native earthlings had to unite in one large community - The Globe, whose territory was limited to the part of land which, by some miracle, was recaptured from the new owners of the planet. Even though, the humanity managed to reconstruct some resemblance of the old society within the community, there is no person among the survivors who still has the hope that things will be as they were before. Still, there are some people who prefer to enjoy what they managed to save. After all, as the practice shows, there is always a chance, that the things will become far, far worse...
